My dearest friend you are like the stars.
Burning bright with hope, love, and kindness.
My dearest friend you are like music.
Always there when no one else is.
My dearest friend you are like a crow.
Intelligent and inquisitive.
My dearest friend you are the night.
My only companion when I have lost all others.
My dearest friend you are my hope, my joy, my companion.
No matter how old we get, our friendship will burn bright,
Forever.
Our friendship will burn always in the sky,  like the midnight stars,
Always burning, always there.
